Our ancestors settled here in the middle of the sixteenth century, 900m from the spa. Over time many men and women both from our family and elsewhere have lived and worked here. Now a new generation of our family live here, bringing to life the dream of sharing the history of those who precede us. The dream was to convert the old cowsheds and barns into rural accommodation and thus fill the farm with life again. We have done it all with those farm women in mind; the brave, enterprising, beloved women who lived there and were the pillars of our family history. This is why we want them to be remembered and our hope is that we will keep their memory alive in this project.<\/p>\n

If you ask us to name our favourite village nearby, we would say Bescaran, which is situated at 1,400m altitude and 21km from the spa.
If you ask us why, we would tell you that it is a traditional, authentic village, one of\u00a0 the few which remain. Also, that the summers there are cool and the winters often snowy; the road, however, is always cleared of snow thanks to the snow plough. Furthermore, our family originally comes from Bescaran and in recent times we have new family connections with the village.<\/p>\n

So if you are looking for peace and quiet and the chance to get away from it all, you will love to escape for a few days to one of our rural apartments. <\/p>\n

Situat a 900m. del Balneari, els nostres avantpassats s'hi van establir a mitjans del segle XVI.<\/p>

Al llarg del temps molts homes i dones de dins i fora de la nostra fam\u00edlia hi han viscut i treballat, per\u00f2 ara una nova generaci\u00f3 hi vivim, fent real el somni de compartir la hist\u00f2ria de qui ens ha precedit. Amb aquesta il\u00b7lusi\u00f3 hem convertit les velles quadres i pallers en allotjaments rurals retornant, aix\u00ed, la vida a la casa.<\/p>

Tot ho hem fet pensant en elles, les dones del Mas, dones que en el seu dia hi van viure i van ser pilars en la hist\u00f2ria de la nostra fam\u00edlia, dones valentes, emprenedores i molt estimades. \u00c9s per aix\u00f2 que no volem que caiguin en l'oblit i el nostre desig \u00e9s que siguin presents en aquest projecte per recordar-les sempre.<\/p>
